Dr. Allatesha Cain, NBCT
Meet Dr. Allatesha Cain, our esteemed Technology Teacher at Charles F. Hard Elementary School. Her professional background is firmly rooted in education, boasting a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Miles College and a Master’s Degree specializing in Elementary Technology from the University of Alabama at Birmigham. Furthermore, she holds the prestigious distinction of being a National Board Certified Teacher.
Driven by her passion for both education and technology, Dr. Cain made the decision to combine these interests by pursuing a Doctor of Education Degree in Instructional Technology and Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University. In recognition of her expertise, she also holds many certifications, including Google Certified Educator credentials for both Levels 1 and 2.
Among Dr. Cain’s notable accomplishments, she was honored as one of the ten recipients of the Amazon Future Engineer Teacher of the Year award in 2023, winning $25,000 for Charles F. Hard Elementary School. Additionally, she achieved recognition as District 4 Elementary Teacher of the Year, and she was one of the 16 finalists for the 2023-2024 Alabama Teacher of the Year award.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Cain is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. In her personal life, she resides in Hoover, Alabama, with her husband, children, and a cherished fur baby.
