We are pleased to announce that our Technology Teacher, Dr. Allatesha Cain, was recently selected as an Amazon Future Engineer Teacher of the Year Award recipient!
Dr. Cain is one of ten winners from across the country who were selected based on their commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within computer science education and instructional excellence and record of student achievement. Dr. Cain received a $5,000 cash award and $25,000 to support the computer science program at Charles F. Hard Elementary School. This award will allow Dr. Cain to fulfill her dream of increasing computer science and robotics in the computer lab. Congratulations, Dr. Cain, on this well-deserved recognition and your commitment to our students!
