My name is Carolyn Miller. I grew up in Bessemer and I am a proud graduate of Jess Lanier High School, graduating with an Advanced Academic Diploma. Go Purple Tigers!! I am a graduate of University of Montevallo where I earned a degree in teaching the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and Grand Canyon University where I received degrees in Special Education Specialist and Leadership. I am the Exceptional Needs Specialist at Charles F. Hard Elementary School. On a personal note, I am married and have 3 children: Brittany, Breanna and Bryan. I also have two grandchildren: Noah and McKenzie. My hobbies are shopping, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends in addition to being an active member of my church. I look forward to working with and learning from all of you.
