Kristi Lenz

I am so excited to be teaching second grade at Hard Elementary School this year. I graduated from the University of Montevallo with Degree in Education and also have a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from The University of Montevallo. I am certified to teach Elementary, and Middle and High School Language Arts. In my career, I have taught middle school language arts, multi-media and computer applications. I taught first grade for seven years, and I have also taught 2nd grade.

I live in Helena, Alabama with my two dogs, and my wonderful husband. We have five children who keep us very busy. My hobbies are crafting, reading, organizing, decorating, and most of all teaching my scholars. I love watching Auburn football and spending time at the beach. 

My mission as a teacher is to equip ALL of my students with the tools to become lifelong learners. I believe that once a child is my student, he or she is always my student. I will ensure that all of my students are challenged in a nurturing and structured environment.
