Bio

Hi, I'm Michelle Kaiser and I'm excited to be a 5th grade teacher! It is my desire to be a positive influence with the students, families, and teachers at Hard Elementary as we work together to ensure the academic success of every student. This is my 33nd year in education, my 5th year with Bessemer City Schools, and my 5th year at Hard Elementary.

I grew up in Birmingham, attended Alabama School of Fine Arts and graduated from John Carroll. After high school I attended Auburn University where I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I soon moved to Atlanta where my teaching experience included PreK, Kindergarten and 5th grade in a couple of amazing school districts. After 16 years I moved back to Alabama and taught Kindergarten, 1st grade and 6th grade in Hoover.

My favorite thing to do is spend time with my 3 children. My oldest son is an attorney in Georgia, my daughter is a 3rd grade teacher at Greenwood Elementary, and my youngest son is a welder in Huntsville. My own children are very diverse in their learning styles and educational needs, so I love the opportunity to work with children from diverse needs and backgrounds to help them grow in their academic abilities.

I look forward to another great year at Hard Elementary!
